Day One

This day arrive at
Victoria Falls airport, where you will
be met and transferred to a hotel/lodge
of your choice for an over night stay on
bed and breakfast basis. The transfer
from the airport is approximately 20-25
minutes depending on the time of the
day. On arrival at your hotel or lodge,
our representative will assist you with
check-in.
Day Two
The
Elephant Safari is conducted on the
privately owned Nakavango Estate. The
estate is not fenced, allowing for free
movement of game.
Transfer time is
approximately thirty minutes to the
reception / Boma where clients can enjoy
a continental breakfast. This is
followed by an educational talk on
African Elephant and their relationship
with man. Following the talk (which will
include safety) clients will be
introduced to the elephants and their "Ndunas".
After a short familiarization with the
elephant, clients will begin their
elephant back safari through the bush.
Bottled water will be available during
the one and a half to two hours ride.
An experienced guide will
accompany the rides to ensure the safari
is entertaining, informative and safe.
Upon returning to the
Boma, drinks will be served prior to
departing for Victoria Falls.

Partially
open to the African skies and sheltered
by the indigenous
Gusu forest lies the
award winning Boma restaurant.
This offers a unique African experience
that bombards the senses with the
tastes, sights, sounds and smells of
Africa - together with the warmth and
hospitality of Zimbabwe and its people.
Specializing in a superb selection of
traditional Zimbabwean dishes, fish, a
variety of game meat and potjiekos
(hunter’s stew) - as well as vegetarian
meals - diners are
invited to sample ethnic delicacies.
Traditional customs, such as local beer
tasting and pre-dinner handwashing, are
observed while the sights and sounds of
the evening are accentuated by Ndebele
performers who captivate diners with
their vibrant and energetic songs and
dance.
Steeped in mystery, a witchdoctor adds a
touch of drama and after dinner guests
are invited to wile away the evening
with the restaurant’s sangoma - a
traditional storyteller - to learn more
about the country’s folklore, culture
and heritage.
After a buffet lunch at
Chobe Safari Lodge, cruise on the Chobe
River before a transfer back to Victoria
Falls. (Approx.
11 hours)
Day Five
Transfer from the hotel
entrance to Victoria Falls Airport for
departure flight.
NB: Extensions into the
rest of Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia,
Malawi, Mozambique, and Namibia & South
Africa can be added to this itinerary.
